Ridi Djajakusuma has acquired media experience during his career at the Voice of America
at the Indonesian Service. Below are some of the many experiences he has gained.
PUBLIC RELATIONS: creating a variety of programs and shows for diverse audiences with different backgrounds to promote the organization’s image.
MARKETING: promoting VOA to its audience in Indonesia through radio, TV shows, and website; responsible for VOA Email Direct and VOA Indonesian Service electronic newsletter, sent weekly to more than 6,000 subscribers.
SOCIAL MEDIA: more than 500K Twitter followers and up to 20K likes on Facebook.
COVERING EVENTS: covering sports, entertainment, food, and American culture for both radio and TV shows. Tasks include script writing, hosting, camera operation, and video editing.

RADIO PRODUCTION: copywriting, reporting, voice-over, audio editing, and translation from English to Bahasa Indonesia.
TV PRODUCTION DUTIES: hosting, writing, shooting, video editing, and producing stories for VOA TV affiliates in Indonesia.
WEB SUPPORT TEAM: updating daily news and promotions on the VOA Indonesia website, designing layout, maintaining the site, and utilizing HTML, ColdFusion, CommonSpot, Javascript, Photoshop, Paintshop, Whatcounts, Adobe Photoshop.
